[About "The BADGE"]

"The BADGE" was formed in Fukuoka, Japan in 1978. After moving to Tokyo in early 80's, the band has released 4 single records, 3 12inch maxi-singles and 1 full album by major Japanese record companies including Teichiku, Riverstar Records and King Records from their debut in 1982 to their disband in 1986.

With their exciting gigs everywhere in Japan, a lot of fans still remember them.
Also, there is a bootleg record, which was released outside of Japan that featured a song of "The BADGE." By listening to that record, lots of young people now interested in "The BADGE" from all over the world. It caused high price on their original records at used stores and online auctions.

To celebrate the 20th anniversary of their first record release, MMRecords is planning to release a CD in December with the songs which are previously not released.
Now, more than ever, we wish to have their original records in CD format.

The original records of "The BADGE" are no longer available and never released in CD format. Here, we have organized an online petition in order to gather as many signatures as possible before forwarding to the record companies. Please take a minute to fill out the petition.
